  • Quality is our baseline. From our handmade pasta and signature meatballs on the Restaurant side to the fresh-pressed burgers in the Pub, every dish is prepared with consistency and care.

  • We’re a local business built for the community. Our goal is for "The 1879" to be the place where we actually know your name and you always feel like a regular, even on your first visit.

  • We built this for variety. Whether you need a quiet corner for date night, a large table for a family celebration, or a loud spot to watch the game with friends, you’ll find the right vibe here.

  • As we wrap up our soft opening trials, our Grand Opening date is expected to be July 17th. Keep a lookout for your email and social media for all of the latest updates.

  • Think of it as one building with two distinct moods.

    • The Restaurant side focuses on Italian comfort classics, steaks, and a great atmosphere for date nights or family dinners.

    • The Pub side is a laid-back hangout with American favorites, craft beers, and games

  • Absolutely. The Restaurant is family-friendly all day. The Pub side is family-friendly until 9 PM, at which point it becomes a 21+ environment.

  • We are right in the heart of Sealy at 222 Fowlkes St.

  • Not quite yet! We’ll have options for private parties and events. Once we get through the Grand Opening we’ll make more announcements.
