Saturday
Lunch, then a walk down Main Street
Lunch runs Wednesday through Saturday from 11am to 3pm, and it's the full menu, not a watered-down lunch version. Grab a table in the restaurant or head to the pub if there's a game on.
After lunch, take a walk. Downtown Sealy's Main Street has historic buildings you can explore on a self-guided tour, plus local boutiques and shops. Downtown also hosts car and motorcycle shows a few times a year, so check the Main Street calendar before you come.

A little Sealy history
A railroad town since 1879
Sealy was founded in 1879 along the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railroad and named for George Sealy, a Galveston businessman and railroad president. In 1881, a local cotton gin builder named Daniel Haynes started making mattresses, and the company that grew out of it still carries the town's name.
Our building's brick walls are original, so dinner on Fowlkes Street comes with a little of that history.
